Nurse Maude is a charitable organisation that had its beginnings in Christchurch in 1896 with the work of Sybilla Maude.
We provide district nursing and homecare to the people of Canterbury (New Zealand) and cover the greater Canterbury area from Rakaia to Kaikoura. We also provide inpatient care in our hospital, and the Nurse Maude hospice provides end of life care and support free of charge to patients and their families.
The income that is generated by our Hospice Shops, Maudes on Trade Me, our Health and Mobility Store, and Maudes Online shop goes directly into supporting the Nurse Maude Hospice.

Maudes Online was established in 2013 with the aim of introducing our ‘World-Famous-in-Christchurch” Health and Mobility Store to the rest of New Zealand. It is quickly becoming known as the best online resource in New Zealand for adult continence supplies.
Our small team of knowledgeable staff understand that our customers buy our products to meet a variety of different needs. We respect customer confidentiality, and all enquiries and purchases are handled with sensitivity and discretion.
